Every conveyor, terminal and bulk-materials-handling project announced anywhere in Australia, read from the public record every week, grouped by owner, contractor, location and likely conveyor duty, and ranked by how soon someone has to buy. Two lists come out, one for WA and one national, with a door named on every row and the dates to call around. Agents do the reading; nobody at Kinder asks them to.
Attalis Capital's February 2026 investor letter describes what Kinder wants from AI in one sentence. This page is that sentence, running.
Ranked by how soon someone has to buy idlers, cleaners, skirting, impact beds, liners or dust control: commissioning and construction first, then FID, then approvals. Where the owner's project team isn't publicly reachable, the door is the contractor's package manager.

In this market the contractor relationship beats the owner relationship. One approved-vendor conversation with the right EPC lands on every plant it is building.

The same public pages name the incumbents: PROK holds the Ministers North pulleys and is on Iron Bridge; thyssenkrupp took the Iron Bridge radial stacker; Fenner Conveyors holds the Rio and Roy Hill belt supply and pitches ports as a single-source turnkey supplier "from belts and pulleys to idlers, transfer points, and loading zones". Knowing who's in the room before the call is part of the list.
The same projects as a calendar. Each date is a published decision, start or handover that moves a buying window, and the right call lands before it, not after. The radar re-reads these every week and moves them when the source does.
| When | What | Why it moves a call |
|---|---|---|
| 30 Sep 2026 | HVO Continuation IPC determination | The largest pending conveyor decision nationally |
| Oct 2026 | Cosmic Boy processing starts | Shortest-fuse first-fill on the radar |

| H2 2026 | Mulga Downs FID | A published gate: no tenders release before it |
| Late 2026 | Kangwinan board FID | Call before the board decision, not after |
| Dec 2026 | DBCT RL4 commissioning and SL1A handover | Two machines land |
| Q1 FY2027 | Western Ridge commissioning | The spares pattern gets set |

Nothing conveyor-component was open on any Australian public tender portal on 7 September 2026. That's a finding, not a search failure. Government-owned ports and generators buy the asset, not the consumable: every government port item on the record in five years is a works package, and the consumables sit inside standing-offer arrangements or behind invitation-only portals. The private majors are the opposite. They publish idler and pulley packages several times a quarter, open for about two weeks, and the same read that builds the lists above catches them.
| Buyer | Package | Window | Scope line, as published | Fit |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| BHP Iron Ore | Conveyor Idlers, Ministers North Project | 4 to 19 Jun 2026 | "design, manufacture, surface treatment and packaging for transport of Conveyor Idler sets, including... Idler rollers, Idler frames & Wind guards" | STRONG |
| Pilbara Minerals | Conveyor Idlers, P2000 Expansion Project | 5 to 25 May 2026 | "all carrying, return, impact, impact beds and training idlers, frames, rollers and associated ancillary equipment" | STRONG |
| Rio Tinto | RTIO Conveyor Pulley Supply and Associated Services, EOI-02016 | 25 Jul to 7 Aug 2026 | Conveyor pulleys, off-site repair, technical support | STRONG |
| Rio Tinto, Brockman Syncline 1 | BS1/M/SM/2104 Conveyor Idlers, ICN Gateway work package | 21 Mar to 4 Apr 2024, awarded | One of 32 packages on the project page; awarded to Conveyor Products Solutions. Found by the scan on its own on 8 September, its first sweep with conveyor terms. | POSSIBLE · history |
| Rio Tinto, Brockman Syncline 1 | BS1/M/SM/2105 Conveyor Pulleys, ICN Gateway work package | 16 to 30 Apr 2024, awarded | Awarded to PROK Conveyor Components. First ore is 2027, so the sustaining cycle on both packages starts then. | POSSIBLE · history |
Three more sit on the record as supply-into rather than supply: Rio Tinto's CLAHDO stacker and shiploader upgrades, which name belt cleaners, spray bars, pulleys, idlers and skirting inside a works package; Gladstone Ports' under-conveyor guarding on nine conveyors at RG Tanna, the clearest government-owned component content in five years; and Fremantle Ports' belt maintenance panel, services only, where the consumables line never surfaces publicly and the move is a phone call.
Whether anyone at Kinder saw the BHP, Pilbara Minerals and Rio Tinto packages isn't knowable from outside, and this page doesn't guess. It says only that the radar sees them, that three came from Kinder's own named customers inside four months, and that both Brockman Syncline 1 packages were found by the scan running on its own. Each closed inside two weeks of opening: the window a keyword alert has to catch.
When a package clears both layers, the agent opens the notice, downloads the pack (today the agent fetches VendorPanel itself; for ICN packages and the majors' portals a person pulls the pack and the agent takes it from there) and reads it against Kinder's catalog and the gates that matter: FRAS, insurance, portal registration. It writes a one-page brief: what is asked, which Kinder products answer it line by line, which gates are met, unknown or missing, and a recommendation: bid, no-bid, or needs a human. Every brief goes to one person, whatever the recommendation. Yes or no, with a reason, in one line. The record keeps the decision so the same package never asks twice.
For a project on the two lists there's no pack to bid on. The question is call, skip or later. Today the lists are what runs, refreshed every week. The call brief behind each row, naming the door and the argument, is the next build.
Respond starts when Kinder says bid. The same system turns the pack into the response: every requirement extracted and page-cited, a compliance matrix, a crosswalk from each requirement to the Kinder product that meets it, and a response scaffold in which every claim is cited to the pack or the catalog, or left blank for the estimator. On a public utility supply pack of 990 pages, the system extracted 502 distinct, page-cited requirements and built the matrix and crosswalk in a day. The system compiles; it runs with a person at the keyboard driving the agents, in hours, and a person reads every page.
The public portals are one of three sources. The same brief and the same response run on the packages the majors and EPCMs send by invitation after the public teaser, built like a public pack with a shorter window, once the radar is pointed at Kinder's own inbox and portal accounts. That third source starts on engagement, never from outside.
What it never does: it never sets a price, never chooses the final product, never signs, and never lodges or contacts a buyer in Kinder's name. Those stay with the people who own them.
